The 5 Best Mini Kegerators (Reviews For 2025)

We’ve probably all enjoyed a perfect pint at our favorite brewery or local bar, and wished we could replicate the pours right in the comfort of our own home. While you could drop some serious money on a full draft setup, many of us don’t want to go all-in and would rather preserve the space we do have in our kitchens.

If that’s your situation, I highly recommend checking out a mini kegerator. These compact draft systems will keep your brews perfectly cold, carbonated, and ready to pour whenever the craving hits.

I’ve gone ahead and reviewed the 5 top mini kegerators, so you don’t have to worry about which ones are worth incorporating into your setup. Let’s jump right in!

Mini Kegerator Reviews

1. Gancowise Mini Keg Growler, Pressurized Home Dispenser System

Features at a Glance:

  • Capacity: 270 oz.
  • Material: Stainless Steel
  • Other: Adjustable faucet with self closing to prevent dripping
  • Includes: CO2 cartridge system, adjustable faucet, portable mini keg

Starting things off on the right foot, we have the Gancowise Mini Keg Growler, Pressurized Home Dispenser System. With a capacity of an impressive 270 ounces, it’s able to serve around 16 16-ounce cups of beer. That means if you’re on the hunt for a solid party growler, this should be one of your top selections!

As someone who just got into home brewing, this gadget is the perfect addition to my home setup as a post-brew dispenser. After fermenting your beer, all you have to do is transfer it over to this pressurized vessel, attach the included CO2 cartridge, and your beer pours smooth and straight right from the tap.

It’s also nice if you don’t have bottles or simply don’t want to have to deal with bottling your beer after. The adjustable carbonation feature is one of my favorites, letting me dial in just how fizzy or flat my beer is. The sealed, pressurized system also helps keep it fresher for longer – significantly more than if you were to bottle it.

Right out of the box, I noticed that the build was high-quality, comprised of stainless steel, so I knew it was made to last (and endure some more eventful gatherings). The beer hose was food-grade and I even noticed that everything down to the threading felt like it was made with care.

However, if you do happen to have any issues in that regard, they include a generous 1-year warranty and customer service assistance.

2. NutriChef Pressurized Growler Mini Keg Tap System

Features at a Glance:

  • Capacity: 128 oz.
  • Material: Double walled stainless steel
  • Other: Keeps beer cold for 8 hours, will keep beer fresh for weeks
  • Includes: Stainless steel growler, adjustable CO2 regulator, cap spear, brass tap, food-grade silicone O-ring kit, 47.24″ silicone beer tubing

If you’re looking for a slightly smaller capacity, the NutriChef Pressurized Growler Mini Keg Tap System is a fantastic alternative. As with all things from NutriChef, you can expect excellent quality and top-notch performance.

I don’t know about you, but any time it comes to dealing with liquid under pressure, I tend to pay extra attention to quality and safety! When you open the package, you’ll see a solid, stainless steel, double-walled keg, which is the perfect size for the average beer enthusiast and the same volume as traditional growlers.

It’s sleek and compact enough to fit in most fridges (without the tap attached), and keeps your beer cold for up to 8 hours, making it extra convenient. The black, scratch-resistant powder coating further preserves the integrity of your kit, too.

Aside from the keg, you’ll also receive a brass tap, a CO2 adjustable regulator (0 – 30 PSI), silicone O-rings, 47″ silicone beer tubing, and everything else you need to seamlessly serve your beer. I particularly love the regulator, as it gives me full control over the head and pour – perfect for those who want every drop to be perfect.

Setup is pretty easy – just make sure everything is cleaned well, screw in the tap and regulator, and transfer over your beer. The only complaint I have is that the regulator can be a bit finicky at times.

Otherwise, you can count on your brew staying carbonated, with a clean pour for around 2 months under ideal temperature, seal integrity, and cleanliness. The fact that it’s also compatible with all kinds of CO2 cartridges and is just so intuitive to use makes it a 10/10 for me – especially given the price!

3. TMCRAFT 64oz Growler Tap System

Features at a Glance:

  • Capacity: 64 ounces
  • Material: Stainless Steel
  • Other: Insulated keg will keep beer fresh for months
  • Includes: 64-ounce growler, adjustable regulator, cooler jacket

Perhaps you’re looking for something even more compact than the previous two we’ve covered. If that’s the case, look no further than the sleek and functional TMCRAFT 64oz Growler Tap System. It instantly caught my eye with its gorgeous matte black appearance, which I knew would go perfectly in my home and be perfect to fit right in my fridge.

If you’re tired of bottling your home brews but don’t want a massive, bulky tap system, this is easily one of the best options on the market today. Aside from the high-quality, food-grade stainless steel, 64-ounce growler, you get a regulator that screws in CO2 cartridges (3/8″ thread style, an adjustable faucet, and even a cooler jacket to keep beer colder for longer!

The cooler jacket came in handy when we had gone tailgating and were out later than planned. Not to mention, it’s one of the most portable, which is essential if you’re lugging it out camping or down the block to the neighbors’ house. I personally love taking mine to the beach and sharing with friends!

Once you load your beer, all you have to do is hook up the CO2 (which, unfortunately, the cartridges are not included, but many different brands are compatible), set your pressure, and pour!

The upgraded regulator is a pleasure to use and one of the more accurate for setting PSI, letting you really fine-tune the pressure to keep the head and pour to your liking. The only downside for me is that, as mentioned, there’s no CO2 cartridge included – not a big deal, though.

Aside from that, it’s more advanced than a basic kit, but not a full keg rack – great for those just getting into the game.

4. KRUPS and HEINEKEN B100 BeerTender

Features at a Glance:

  • Capacity: 5 liters
  • Material: Stainless Steel
  • Other: Cooling system keeps beer at 37.4 degrees F.
  • Includes: DraughtKeg, Beertender, LED temperature indicator, large removable drip tray, 5 draught tubes

If you’re after a draft beer on tap without a full keg rig, the KRUPS and HEINEKEN B100 BeerTender is one of the best out there. It’s a compact, countertop mini-kegerator built to chill and serve 5-liter kegs or home brew – perfect for those who want something not as robust.

Not to mention, it’s easily one of the most attractive models of its kind, instantly adding to aesthetic appeal! Right out of the package, the unit feels sleek and bar-worthy – not to mention the handy LED temp indicator that shows when the beer is at proper serving temperature.

This makes it perfect for those just getting into beer brewing at home, or beginners who aren’t quite as well-versed in serving beer right out of the tap. It also comes with a big removable drip tray to keep things nice and tidy, and when you’re done, you can just wash it out quickly.

Another detail I really appreciated was the detachable tap, which further made cleanup easier for me. Setup is also a breeze, consisting of you pretty much just inserting the keg, letting it chill, and pulling the tap (unless your keg is already pre-pressurized).

On to functionality, I found that it offered a solid draft pour with nice head retention and perfectly cold beer every time. It really does feel like you’re “on tap” – and this is coming from a former bartender!

The only potential limitation I see here is that the size is designed specifically for compatibility with Heineken/DraughtKeg mini kegs.

A generic 5-liter keg may not work, unless it’s a Heineken beer or Newcastle. Other than that, it’s quite possibly the closest one could get to “plug-and-play”, making it extremely accessible and convenient for anyone!

5. NutriChef Double Walled System-64oz Stainless Steel Growler Tap

Features at a Glance:

  • Capacity: 64-ounces
  • Material: Stainless Steel
  • Other: Adjustable regulator to give you exact amlount of head on the beer you want
  • Includes: Stainless steel growler, screw-on cap, adjustable CO2 pressure regulator (0 – 30 PSI), cap spear, brass tap, food-grade silicone O-ring kit, 47.24″ silicone beer tubing

Last but certainly not least, is the NutriChef Double Walled System-64oz Stainless Steel Growler Tap. From the other review earlier up in this guide, it’s no secret that I’m a fan of the NutriChef growler taps, so it’s no surprise I had to include this one, as well.

It’s one of those nice “middle ground” hacks that are an improvement upon just a growler, but not as heavy-duty as full kegerator setups. Right when you take it out of the box, you’ll pull out the double-walled, stainless steel keg body, which is clearly made with quality and durability in mind while still remaining functional.

In addition, you have a spear/cap, brass tap, adjustable CO2 regulator, silicone tubing, and O-rings. Everything down to the tiniest components is high-quality and built to last, which is certainly reassuring. The design is meant to be compact and easy to fit into your fridge, which explains the shorter cap (taller ones won’t work in a fridge).

Filling is super easy – all you have to do is transfer over your beer, seal the cap, attach the regulator, charge with the CO2 cartridge, and dial in the desired pressure. The adjustable regulator makes carbonation and pour control a breeze, and the double wall slows heat gain while serving.

This is a serious upgrade over bottling for small batches, which makes home brewing even more fun, in my opinion! The only thing I’d say to watch out for is that there are no leaky seals and to double-check everything.

This goes double if your beer has a lot of sediment or trub, as the tap can get clogged. Otherwise, you’re in for a real treat with this one!
